One side is normal and mentally healthy and the other side is not. I do actually feel sorry for democrats, the world they’ve boxed themselves into is so fragile and mostly out of their control. Sad.

I don’t feel sorry for them. Not a bit.

+1

Hungary and the Philippines would like to have a word. And pre 1990 Chile wouldn't mind a word.

This. And this post should really be moved to the health forum because it is more about anxiety. I have a teen member of the family who had a hard time getting out of bed yesterday because of the anxiety of the thought about the grim future of the country if Harris wins. It’s mental health. Yes, it’s my kid with anxiety issues.

OP, it’s okay to eat your kids Halloween candy every year.

LOL.

It is funny that a term conned its mother into thinking it has anxiety. Just another term excuse when they don’t want to do something as simple as getting out of bed. No wonder the world laughs ate the dependence of the US on drugs to function.

The mom here. Once again, I invite all of you to hop over to the health forum or even the special needs forum to discuss living and dealing with family members with debilitating anxiety. Really, it’s more about that than a discussion on politics.

Same. Hopefully she’s right lol

you do realize that if trump loses Iowa he will still win according to all the polls?

A poll is not the same as a ballot. Vote!

No matter how many supporters he has, and u know he has a lot, he antagonizes people way too easily and it's 2024 not 2016 when people wanted to take a chance. He's had one and people will give Kamala one this time around. I don't think she'll do very well but I know he won't get another chance. It's just not how this country works.

If you have been listening to Trump’s rally speeches over the past few weeks and still cannot vote for Kamala something is wrong. Trump’s own campaign advisors can’t rein him in. Do you think he is fit to be president? Would any company ever hire Trump as employee? Think about that. A non-vote is a vote for Trump.

Policy is forever. Trump is at worst President for four years under mostly divided government.

I'm a different poster but what Trump says at his rallies is barely interesting.

Policy? Like a nationwide abortion ban?

No, silly. Like ballooning our national debt twice as high as Harris!

Yes, I'm sure you are citing some "expert" on that.

Meanwhile, we have Harris' ideology to push for reparations, down payments for homeowners, a climate change agenda and the redistribution of income, which is THE cornerstone of the democrat party.

In short, stop lying.

Blame the people that let Trump run again and those that keep voting for him.

Or putting RFK Jr in charge of our healthcare and food. Yeah, nothing to worry about - seems just fine.

My anxiety is through the roof, too, OP. Though it's a little better since the Selzer poll.

JFK Jr being in charge of anything terrifies me. He is mentally ill and another rich kid (like Trump) who can't stand to be told no or be disagreed with. He has unbelievable hubris.

Sounds like a liberal.

I am hoping that the amount of intelligent people voting out number the deplorables. I am no longer watching the news or political coverage because I just can't take anymore and it seems like it's all BS Trump propaganda at this point.

OP here - I am not so certain about this. The DMV is a bubble; there is an entire other world and reality out there. Was on the phone with a friend who lives in Arizona; both her and her husband voted for Trump. She kept talking about illegal immigrants etc. I know at least three other friends (these are all 30+ year relationships) in VA, GA and PA, who will vote Trump, along with their spouses. And these are educated people; just different value systems. I have another educated friend here in MD who is educated and is Jewish who is voting Trump, partly due to Israel issues. So, who knows what will happen on Tuesday....

i dont think i could be friends with anyone who is voting for trump

You probably are and you just don’t know it
