She needs a lot of time to prep for interviews.

PP again. I get that, but why do interviews at all? I did just read that she declined Joe Rogan, so I think that's a good move.

She's clearly better at group events and rallies. I don't understand why she's not barnstorming the swing states like Trump is. She could easily do a couple of rallies each day in each swing state and that would do a lot to energize her campaign.

I seriously don't understand this decision.

Perhaps if you followed something other than Fox News and OAN, you would know she is barnstorming the swing states. That's pretty much all she is doing between media interviews. Trump has more holes in his schedule as he has cancelled all mainstream media after the disastrous Univision Town Hall coupled with the Bloomberg interview.

And she is not holding a rally in the LA coliseum a week before the election (Trump, MSG, 10/27).

This is simply not true. Anyone can look this up. She was off the campaign trail yesterday (10/22) and today (10/23). She may be visiting swing states later this week, or next week, but that's not what we're discussing. The question is, why is she not out there every single day (including yesterday and today), working as hard as some of her volunteers like OP?

Harris has had a lot more campaign stops in the last two weeks than Trump has. Just because he scheduled a full schedule of events doesn't count for much when he canceled more than half of his stops in the last week and a half. He's old and tired. If he can't handle his campaign schedule without canceling more than half of his events, how is he going to handle the busy schedule of the President which is non-stop. He took more golfing vacations during his first term than any other President in history. And he can't keep up with the campaign schedule without canceling several events to "rest" for 2-3 days between events.

And Harris is not off the campaign trail.
Monday, she hit three stops, in Michigan, Wisconsin and then Pennsylvaniia.
Tuesday, she was doing an interview on Telemundo to reach out to Latino voters and another one on NBC News.
She has a Town Hall tonight at 9:00 PM in Pennsylvania.

OK, this is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. Trump had 2 rallies just yesterday.

Guys, we are behind in every measure of early voting in the swing states. I'm sorry if that hurts to hear, but it's the truth. Why isn't the candidate working her butt off at this point? She isn't. She's hiding behind "meetings" and prep for what should be short and easy interviews. She is NOT working this like someone who wants to win.

You call Trump rallies "work"?? He's preaching (and rambling) to the choir. Not reaching out to voters who might not vote for him.

Why you think "work" has to mean a rally is beyond me.

They register 1000 new voters/volunteers at each rally.

Do they register everyone? Because his rallies are not getting more than 1000 people.

W was winning in polls, and wrapped up the day before. Gore was rallying all the way thru election day.

People were saying they didn’t feel like they knew her well enough. So she is doing more interviews where she can answer more questions and be conversational. And also, unlike Trump, she has a job. Being vice president of the United States would take a bit of her time, don’t ya think?

I think this is true, people badly want a change, not more of the same.
The reason Biden won was because people were so miserable over Covid and thought he could make it go away with some "normalcy."

He did make it go away with some normalcy.

OP, your enthusiasm is appreciated, but if the candidate doesn't have it, how can we?

This week:
Vice President Kamala Harris and former Rep. Liz Cheney on Monday wrapped up a series of moderated conversations in Wisconsin, where they continued to make the case that Donald Trump is unfit for the presidency.

On Tuesday, she will record an interview with NBC’s Hallie Jackson at 3:40 p.m. ET in Washington, D.C. At 4:30 p.m., the Democratic nominee will tape an interview with Telemundo’s Julio Vaqueiro.

Harris will travel to Pennsylvania on Wednesday and participate in a CNN Town Hall event in Chester Township, just outside of the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

On Thursday, the vice president will be in Georgia for a campaign rally, joined by former President Barack Obama

Harris is expected to visit Texas on Friday to attend a campaign event in Houston focusing on abortion rights and rally with Rep. Colin Allred, D-Texas plus recording Berne Brown’s podcast.

Ok, so that’s like one event per travel day, with the exception of the last day, where she does 2 events.

That’s not nearly enough. He’s doing 2-3 travel events a day, with interviews in between.

She’s acting like she’s not really interested in winning. I don’t understand it, or her motivation here.

It’s worrisome.

Everything that I have read about Harris’s management style as Veep indicates someone who is very high maintenance. This is most likely an intentional schedule either requested by her or decided by her team to maximize her performance and limit her exposure. Effectively to stage manage her, which has been a strong theme of her campaign.

She is a pampered childless California liberal- what else do you expect?
