JFC I am annoyed by this and the greed of BCBS. I do not understand how an insurance company can justify this price change. It's criminal. I just started Wegovy last month. I'm not entirely sure what to do now. What are the chances of getting a Tier exception?

I think they are zero. Move to a compound.

My question is - can I use FSAFEDS to get reimbursed for the $450 out of pocket cost? My doctor did prescribe wegovy. I increased my FSA by $1500 this year not knowing this would happen. Next year I’ll look into changing my insurance.

Yes you can apply this to FSAFEDS. I will see how much January's costs, but I will likely move to a compounding option my doctor offers, which is $250 a month and try to come totally off of it by June.

My pharmacy won’t dispense 3 months of Wegovy. They will only do one month at a time. They said it is due to the shortage, but I thought the shortage was over.

Same, they won't do a 3 month supply.

The state of the shortage is summed up well here: https://www.goodrx.com/classes/glp-1-agonists/semaglutide-shortage

My doctor told me that this is not something that is safe "to explore" and she won't write a script for it.

Use a compounding pharmacy and pay cash. (Don't run it through insurance.)
