Me too. It has become a negative. Two ivy tours this summer bragged how they have more than half on need based aid and aim to get the percent up. One said they were the highest % in the country (need based aid).


Full pay is definitely a hook at lower ranked schools, particularly Liberal Arts colleges.

I really don’t care. If you want to twist your kids into emotional pretzels I’ve “too schools” have at it. We’ve opted out of this race to nowhere. And have no worries over our kids future opportunities
