Same but tall men just stride ahead and don't care who they push and shove. It's so rude of them. They think because they are tall they are only required to see other tall people and forget everyone else.

My best friend is 5'7" and was the same height or taller (at least in heels) as her XH.
My other best friend is 5'4" and her DH is 5'7".
We are all college grads and the men are at least college educated and one has advanced degrees.
A former friend is 5'3" and her DH is 6'7" and they look weird, imho. She had difficult labors because the babies were so big.
Are we outliers? I don't understand the obsession with height

I prefer him to be at my height or slightly taller so we can be kissing on the same level. I dated men over 6 ft and they were clumsy dancing, and in bed and almost too heavy for some positions (all were slim or athletic).
Oddly, the vast majority of men who play professional sports in the US are over 6 feet. They’re generally pretty nimble. I’d agree that the 7 footers rarely run/ move well, but that’s a big difference and some still manage it - aka the NBA.
Maybe you’re clumsy in bed? Because if your man is too heavy to F you you’re weak or he’s a big fat dolt.
I prefer my men educated, grad degree and higher. These men are usually clumsy. Maybe I'm clumsy, too and thus it's easier for me to f...k men who are between my height 5'8 to 6ft. Also, I don't date fatties my own BMI is 20 so I'm very unforgiving of fat. But height - I don't hear as long as he's at least my height

Women don’t approach most of the time

I’m 50 and 5’10. Never felt short growing up in 80s never had a problem dating in 90s, 00s and I feel this phenomenon of height obsession is pretty recent
I’ve dated short average and even a bit taller than me. But nowadays women old and young seem to be obsessed. Maybe it’s social media pushing onto to them what high value attractive man is supposed to be
I’ve also spent a lot of time in EU and many countries the average height is much more than USA but I never had difficulty dating there being “below average” by some EU standards and my dates there were close to my height or more
So it’s dumb American women being brainwashed by dumb American social media
Nothing else.
But agree if a guy is 5-10 and woman is 6-1 the sex would be awkward in traditional positions 😂
I'm Eastern European and agree this is completely American thing. Growing up in former USSR, my mom was always telling me not to look at men's height at all. Women are pretty tall in my family, so I was told as long as he's my height or taller it's fine. Men were in shortage post WWII so other qualities than the height (like ability to provide, education, smartness) were what I was taught to look at.
It's very common for EE women to date and marry shorter, distinguished men. People would just think he's very successful or a great human to land a long-legged model
Isn’t the Ukraine president pretty short? His wife looks hot af especially compared to Putins.
