My mother has millions of dollars and shops at Marshall’s, Ross, Aldi etc. She’s just cheap, not poor, and definitely not a trumper. I find it’s mostly immigrants in there, maybe some poor nurses and teachers mixed in.

Some companies do that on purpose to create a sense of exclusivity for their target audience. In Lululemon's case that is skinny people, so they can feel superior and special.
