I don't think all 3000 injured were Hezbollah. I don't think this makes any sense other than wanting war. This kind of stuff is not what people who want peace do. Israel is definitely a country that is guilty of aggression. You can't take everything that's happened since Oct 7th and blame Israel's actions on someone else. At some point, countries are responsible for their own actions. It's a sad and miserable world that condones this bloodshed. It's WW3 is what it wants to be. Not sure why Bibi can't get to a place where he find a way to do something besides hate and kill anyone who isn't a Jew.

Alternatively, now everyone can ID a Hezbollah territorist for a few weeks or months.

Seems kinda simplistic.

It's clear that Israel will be safer in the short and possibly medium term as a result of this action.

Conventional wisdom (analysts) seems to be that Hezbollah's ability to project force has likely been severely impaired. Key personnel injured, communications networks disrupted and potentially not secure, internal security compromised.

This makes Israel safer for some time. Not to mention the potential deterrent effect of this action on both Hezbollah and other hostile groups.

In the long term, who knows? Will it really result in a higher rate of recruiting? Or will it have a deterrent effect on potential recruits? Or will it be a wash? All possible.

But most nations would choose a clear and immediate reduction in short/medium-term risk, even if it creates the theoretical possibility of a marginally increased long-term risk.

Equally impressed that you believe that thousands of innocent civilians are wandering around with Hezbollah-issued pagers in their pockets.

I would just ask if you might consider for one moment that real people had their limbs blown off. Just like on 10/7 horrific things and pain happened.

Well the IDF did that. The IDF is all bout killing civilians whether they are Israelis or Palestinians

Well, according to Hizbollah.

And do we believe a terrorist organization now? I’m skeptical.

In videos I watched, a cashier next to a pager was not killed. In another grocery, the people right next to the guy with the pager were not killed.

Yep. Skeptical.
