+1 haha.. don't throw out your jeans. It will eventually come back.
I’ve made the mistake of getting rid of jeans three times only for them to come back in style. Usually I keep them for 10 years before I finally cave and get rid of them. This skinny return was really fast.

Hey there - wide leg jeans look great on tall, slim people like meAnd they are comfortable. And more youthful.
I am never wearing tight pants again for the rest of my life. It's the only good outcome of the Covid Era.
I'm a petite person and I love them. When proportioned properly, they make me look leggy.
I'm petite as well, I agree that they lengthen the leg, but they're hard to style as an outfit if your torso is short and your waist isn't super tiny.
My torso is short, my waist isn't super tiny, and I actually find them easier to style than a lot of other styles of jeans. I wonder if we're short waisted in different ways? I also wear a lot of midi skirts and dresses - I like the proportions of something more fitted on top and a-line or loose on bottom. I'm just five feet tall FWIW.

This is me - I do like clothes and try to be a little fashionable but it is pretty much a guarantee that as soon as I get a new pair of jeans, that style is OVER
Me too! I must have been the last convert when skinny jeans came around the first time and apparently my internet search for straight legs last week helped tip it back again. Have I lost some years again or has this seemed like a quick turnaround?
This one was quicker than most.
Whatever. I like all types of jeans and will continue wearing them all.

I wear them with Chelsea boots and a sweater, what year is that from
2016

I am pear shaped and look ridiculous in skinny jeans. I hated that whole Han Solo vest/skinny jeans/tall boots phase. And the Christian Girl Autumn phase with the waterfall cardigans and floppy hats and infinity scarves wasn't any better.
lol my friend and I call it pirate season everyone out swashbuckling in their slinkies and boots with long sweaters and billowy shirts
