I like that Tillamook dairy products don’t have any artificial growth hormones. ( rbst). It’s banned in Europe and Canada but apparently the fda thinks it’s just fine. Anyway, didn’t know they sold ice cream so will now have to try it.

Weird texture, goopy, not tasty at all. Looked at the label and that explained it.
HD is very good. I buy stuff with the least amount of stuff in it. Ice cream should really only have 3, maybe 4 ingredients.

When I make vanilla ice cream, it has more:

Milk
Cream
Sugar
Salt
Vanilla bean
And then you need something so it don’t freeze rock solid. I use egg yolks that I temper. Some people use alcohol. Or you can use stabilizer. But if you don’t do this, it will become a solid rock that is gross.

Tillamook is way better! I had a tiny thing of HD that DH thought I would like. It was.... ok. Just ok. I wasn't impressed. Was kinda glad it was just a small cup.

Us, too. I never heard any hype but just tastes wise it is sooooo creamy. Udderly chocolate is our favorite.

Yes and that was a quiet change that they made. If you’re not paying attention, you would not know that not all “ice cream” is ice cream.

OMG that’s me! I gotta check these out next time I’m in the ice cream isles. Ugh.
