It’s inappropriate she is a high level liaison for mcps in her role. It’s a conflict of interest.
You still haven't described how it is a conflict of interest.
Yes, I have. You are probably her trying to justify your poor decisions.

There's been so much waste these past few years that it should have almost no impact. Sure, they may have to have a few less comms firms or special audits done but not like that ever really helped anything.
Its time to hold MCPS and the BOE accountable.
In theory, the county council could, but they will not, so parents need to start protesting and being vocal about their concerns and hold them accountable.

"Removal of Board Member
Pursuant to statute, the Montgomery County Council may remove a Board member for immorality, misconduct in office, incompetence, or willful neglect of duty. The member may request a hearing and have an opportunity to be heard publicly before the Montgomery County Council. The member also has the right to a de novo review of the removal by the Circuit Court of Montgomery County.

The president of the BOE is the biggest problem and there is a huge conflict of interest with her working for MC and MCPS paying MC for a lot of classes/services for HS students.
Besides the fact that dual enrollment is popular, how exactly do you think she's able to use the BoE position for her own benefit?
Her position is to work with MCPS to have offerings to MCPS students. That is a conflict of interest.
You don't seem to understand her position in Montgomery College.
Regardless, you never explained how she would benefit. You realize she doesn't get a commission, right?
It’s not about the commission

How much do we need to trim from non-educational sources to fund enough teachers to have 1 or 2 fewer kids per class?Anonymous wrote:MCPS budget for 2024 is $3,320,000,000.
That’s $3.32 BILLION dollars. And that’s just the operating budget which doesn’t include Capital spending.
1-2 kids isn't going to make a difference, 5-10 kids will. There are lots of things to trim that are unnecessary. The BOE is the first thing that needs to be trimmed.
