Eggplant parmesan. A flavorless sponge soaked in oil.

Seafood in general but specifically raw seafood--sushi, oysters, etc. I can't imagine why people put that in their mouth.

Australians call their versions of lobsters “bugs”!

Artichokes. They often ruin a good crab dip.

YES. I get that it's a vehicle for sauce, but it's too much for little reward.

Kind of agree with pasta too. I eat it, and make it for my family but 99% of it is overrated.

Wings are literally throw-away animal scrap. It's bottom rung prole food.

Um, it's not expensive. We're talking a diff in price of maybe like one or two dollars at most? Plus it's always on sale. But I agree other "high end" butters (local or not) are just as good.

I do love Nutella.

But I’m with you on the spinach thing…it gives me a weird feeling on my teeth

Turkey is easy. It’s all the sides that make it complicated.

Turkey is terrible tasting.

Asparagus, I think people won’t admit it’s doesn’t really taste good, it’s got an interesting shape.

I didn’t really think people are sea urchin I almost threw up the one time I tried it.

I love asparagus.

I felt the same about sea urchin until I lived in Japan and learned where to get it. I think it has to be incredibly fresh and then it's amazing, but at a run of the mill American sushi restaurant it's gag inducing.

Same with hummus.

Not the best Middle Eastern food at all by any metric . It’s a cold dip/appetizer against the heat and considered a garnish there or a budget meal if you’re poor. You’ll be complained about as cheap or poor if you only serve hummus to a guest
