I'd say westgate es its teachers are hard working.
The principle I's very nice to the students and teachers.
I live in pimmet hills and the bus now come's down the street !
So I really recommend westgate

Also maybe Laurel Ridge (Spanish immersion) and Mantua Elementary School (Advanced Academic Programs [AAP]) are reasonably close.

There are currently no AAP centers that are also partial immersion. You would want an AAP center for your first child and then you could look to see which schools nearby offer partial immersion. Lake Anne and Forest Edge might be a nice pair of schools to consider. Here's the link to the immersion schools and the AAP centers.

I'm also moving to the DC area. I have a rising 6th grader who is highly gifted and currently in a self contained classroom at a regular elementary school with kids his age but working two grades ahead which is a good fit for him. This seems to be similar to the title IV classes. Catch is we also have two other elementary students in dual language Spanish program that we would like them to continue. Help please with suggestions on where to live in this area that would meet their needs.
