The corporate world curses fairly regularly. It's one thing if you inject a curse word into banal everyday speak (I am going to send a f**king meeting notice for our weekly sessions)...but you sound kind of ridiculous if you run Crowdstrike and you simply tell your programmers, you need to immediately correct your latest Microsoft software update and don't interject a couple of expletives in there.

Curious where you work. There are many extremely high paying, highly educated workplaces in finance, corporate law and others where cursing is a daily occurrence.

These are places where people are making millions on average and top performers are making hundreds of millions.

It marks you as trashy. If you are low status, it holds you back from joining better society. If you are high status, you might get away with it due to privilege or talent or the implied threat of violence, but it still makes you unlikeable.

You’re better if you elevate yourself. But it’s not a requirement.
