After the civil war, the country reunited and all states are states in the United States. I moved here from a western state and chose based on today, not on something that is over.

We don’t have a nation anymore. Nations have borders, a language and a culture. We’re now just a landmass with disunited multitudes.


Well, lots of Americans aren't interested in your culture war, so that might be a good place to start.
