Do you have cites for the use of violence by left affiliated groups? Antifa on J6 is not a correct answer.
Are you joking? They burned down a police precinct in Minneapolis and held a federal courthouse under siege in Portland for months while assaulting police officers on a nightly basis? You don’t remember this or are you just being daft.

That violence was wrong and should not be condoned, and in fact was prosecuted. But protests, even violent ones, are not the same thing as storming the Capitol with the intent of forcing the US Congress to keep a defeated President in power. That is called an attempted coup and it's orders of magnitude worse than protests against police violence.

Not looking at it in terms of immigration, but a safe haven for the time being if there is violence following the election.

The guy who set the fire at the Minneapolis precinct was a right winger.

Uh no. This guy was charged with firing rounds not burning a building down.
Four other men (not right wing) were charged with the Molotov cocktails and burning of the building.

I don't think you will have another January 6th - Capitol Police/Congress aren't going to be caught unprepared like that again. I think it's very likely the city will be on some level of lockdown.
The difference b/t then and now is that House and Senate were under Democratic control. IDK what will happen with a split legislature. I lack confidence in the House GOP to make the right calls.
