Think their plan is to have new coach in place before Fall school semester starts.

Academy of the Holy Cross is looking for new Coach as well.
I don't think that they are actively looking for a replacement at Holy Cross from what I gather there is a plan in place for a new coach already. Which is why it is not advertised as an open position on their website.

We get it. Your daughter doesn't play for a top club, but is a good athlete, and you think she should get more PT. "Coach only plays her favorites". She has 12 favorites?? Plus the subs she does make? Come on.
The reality is that there are only two DC-area teams with true "depth": Good Counsel and Stone Ridge.
Bottom line, the Potomac and SJC coaches, around the game their whole lives, accomplished college athletes, and awesome people--who see these girls every day in pratice--have much better judgment on who can help on the field than a biased parent.

I think parents need to get a grip and stop attacking coaches on an anonymous message board.
Then maybe the coach could stop "attacking" our kids on the sidelines and in the hallways when complaining to their family members who also work in the school about players and their parents for many other students to hear.
To be fair - SJC parents are nuts. [/quote
Not SJC. Point being, when a coach acts like a mean girl teenager, at practice, on the sidelines, and especially in the hallways of the school, I argue, that they are fair game. The road goes both ways. They cannot publicly humiliate teenage girls, without giving it a second thought, and not expect to have "disgruntled" parents (there's one poster here who seems to think any arguments that are from disgruntled parents are invalid, which is non-sensical) publicly share their experience.
Coaching the children of the helicopter parent generation appears to be a thankless job. Communicating clearly and intensely on the sideline is one thing, and is part of the game, even if being called out can be embarrassing. I just don’t buy that this type of thing was/is happening in hallways, in a “mean girl” format, at either school. I know both coaches and the Administrations wouldn’t tolerate it. Not disregarding all “disgruntled” parent arguments.

Are you talking about the Potomac coach? There is no way this is happening in the hallways of Potomac. I can see the x-coach at SJC being a mean girl but have a really hard time imagining this with coach Berg.

No, they got worse. The lack of good coaching really starting showing up in the last part of season.
You clearly have an axe to grind with the Potomac HC or the coaching staff in general.
Potomac had a solid season. Losing to STAB in the final minute in the VISAA semi-finals (who ended up being the State Champion) is nothing to get your panties in a bunch over. As for ISL league play, I don't recall anyone on here really predicting the Panthers were going to dethrone the traditional juggernauts SR or Visi.
