Sure. Who do you think makes up their 3rd,4th teams?

Anonymous wrote:Terrible mistake joining. Boys side is all kickball at the older age.

I know some clubs take USL Y very casual and have players of all levers on a team, which can be difficult if your DD is one of the stronger players. Other clubs have A and B teams and really try to go to nationals. I am not sure how many teams they sent to FL (too lazy to check) and how competitively they try to field teams, especially at the younger ages.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:My eyes are fine. This tread is about VSA. Go get your eyes checked.
There isn’t anything wrong with VDA’s USL Y program. They run the program just fine. Communication is good, practices are consistent, etc. The issue is with USL Y as a whole, especially in our division (mid-Atlantic). The competition is bad (i.e. most games are blowouts for VDA), and then the quality of players that participate after U12 dwindles. If you’re looking to stay in shape over the summer in a low key environment, it’s fine, but if you’re expecting competition like you would normally see for, say, ECNL, you won’t get it.

Decent player pool. Coaches try to teach the players criteria given to them from us soccer coaches education courses. Methodology of getting the ball forward as fast as you can and dominate 1v1s. Every team in the age group has a different session happening. I don’t like majority of the parents here, worst than Loudoun and FCV parents, but nicer than PWSI parents. Compared closely to VDA parents.
Imagine if every single parent wanted to bypass the Head Coach and go directly to the TD. The TD would never get any work done. Maybe your question/concern can be handled by the HC. If it's a complaint about the HC or the coach has done something wrong, then it makes sense but you should not bypass the HC. Do they have DOCs? You could speak to them prior to TD.

Methodology? Find big, fast players that can kick it far.
