Although I wish we would get away from snacks. They don’t need them and it’s another thing to organize and all the pre-packaged snacks create so much trash.
Cucumbers?
I would love to see this in the wild.
Not as bad as the lady who always brought seaweed snacks to ours.

Please don't organize these!! Plenty of parents don't want this
In no way are “plenty” of parents on your side of this argument. I mean, you are welcome to your opinion but unless you have done a poll across multiple sports and multiple age groups, don’t overstate please.

I have been doing both rec and travel sports for my kids for years and only had one mom organize this. People should pack their own snack for their kids. No need to throw more junk at them and add an extra chore the parents to do.

Count me in on not wanting to do snacks! Hockey is fantastic for that. The only time there might be a snack after is if it’s a child’s birthday.
Once other sports’ teams switched to no snacks with my older kids, I got annoyed by them for my youngest. I now take my time looking at the sign up sheet and sometimes get lucky and have all slots full. When I do have to sign up, I buy a Costco box of kids’ cliff bars and Veggie Straws and use my kids’ least favorite kind.
