Are you saying that law school admissions doesn’t value a B+ in a class taught by a tenured Nobel laureate as highly as an A in a class taught by an adjunct who teaches classes at Tufts, BU, and UMass Lowell?

No they don’t unless that person is writing a kick ass rec.

Whichever they can get the highest gpa and lsat. That’s all that matters when applied to law school.

+100000. Yes!! An endowment is not going to get your kid in to law school. This is very sound advice. Sitting in traffic while navigating the suburbs of Atlanta (kill me now) does not sound like a fun college experience. PP is spot on.

Ok sweetie. Emory is better. It’s Friday, make your self a drink.

Oh look -- it's the "sweetie" poster. Spreading condescension and her own ignorance every time she posts.

I’m the poster, however I have never used the word “sweetie” on this forum before this thread. I also think it’s ridiculous to argue over the merits of two great schools. Bless your heart.

I don't know any law firms that give weight to the undergraduate institution.

It doesn’t really matter, and there is no need to major in political science.
