Plus they have a few 2026s on that team that aren't in the window yet but are definitely Power 4 material. I would say NVA is doing just fine.
McLean 2025 team with another Duke commit...that team must be loaded...anyone see them play?
4th place in weak MA division.
For the thousanth time......wins and losses don't matter anymore at the recruiting ages.....
So how are they getting girls in the ACC?

Will be interesting to see how many of those commits see the field at their respective schools.
Penn State is a tough place to find the field for anyone. Girl must be dynamic. National team player I assume.
How does CW have any pull TODAY (not in the past) with college coaches if the only team he is head coach of as of the fall is 11 year old girls travel?

Only exception to this is the UVA girl who was on u17 NT she will play at UVA, but why didn't she go Pro like 3/4 of that team already has? Maybe a tier below so Union keep trying, good schools, not elite soccer players. The other two VA girls are also choosing college route as well, is this more evidence for a watered down NoVa soccer landscape?
I find it hard to believe the girls are signing up to this deal knowing they won't play. that can't be what they want.
If playing soccer put me on UCLA's radar, I'd be ok with being in school there and just leaving the team if it didnt work out. Still a UCLA degree, she likley never got any scholarship money either way. Sounds like a good risk to take to me, nothing to lose other than coming to conclusion that your soccer career is likley over. Not ok with my family cause we will never be full pay, and UCLA out of state is absoultely full pay. Goes back to the argument that these girls would have likely gotten into some of these schools without soccer because of their zip code. In the UCLA example its 100% soccer but that doesnt mean that she will play, she likely helped raise the academic score for the class (which is a real thing). Womens soccer is a privilege game, sad but true reality
