Exactly what I was thinking!

My DH and I (together over 20 years) have never groomed body hair because of the other person. In fact, while I prefer to keep my armpits shaved, when I have a little bit of hair there he often likes it. Similarly, I find it makes me feel better to be a bit groomed - especially in swim suit season - but I’m often ungrounded for the winter. That said, if either of us had body hair that bothered the other I think we’d just ask the other person if they would consider grooming it. My husband doesn’t have a hairy chest but has two random patches of stubble that look a bit odd so he tends to shave those - I’m not sure I’ve ever asked him too, but maybe I would if he didn’t? I’m really not sure. For awhile I hated his beard (kind of a short goatee) but I think the last time he shaved it off was for our wedding 16 years ago and our children think he looks “weird” and “not like dad” in our wedding photos 😂
