Our kiddo goes to a nursery school at out temple now and we're happy there, so we'll keep going there and then see what happens next year, and try for privates (see if we get any aid), or move. I was just not expecting to do bad all around. Again, I know it's a lottery....but I was expecting something I guess.

Anonymous wrote:Slightly strange results. I have twins and for the several schools they were both waitlisted at they have very close numbers:
Twin A school 1 waitlisted 39th
Twin B school 1 waitlisted 41st
Twin A school 2 waitlisted 76th
Twin B school 2 waitlisted 79th
Twin A school 3 waitlisted 112th
Twin B school 3 waitlisted 115th
Neither were admitted to any of these so it's not sibling offered preference or anything like that. Is this just a weird coincidence that both ended up with really close master numbers? This is for pk3 and they're in at our inbound, Noyes.

As a long time Payne parent, I can say all grades have great teachers, but the older grades are some of the strongest, which I know isn't always the case. They have also gotten recognition for doing a better job than other schools in achievement across all sub groups (still a lot of growth across all schools in DCPS).
But they are both good options, I have heard great things about LT too.

Number 1 - 160
Number 2- 234
Number 3- 368
Number 4- 370
