Mostly agree, but it would still raise a red flag. If I had a kid playing for a girls team or an entirely different age group, I would feel far enough from the drama to ignore it.
But the sudden mid-season departure of the director of your brand-spanking-new ECNL program, who has been with the club for years in other positions, and announcing it with language more often associated with employers doing damage control after some sex or embezzling scandal—that would give me some pause about continuing to have my kid enrolled in their ECNL or pre-ECNL programs.

Why would someone do that leaving their kid in the program that they just left abruptly from? Something is not adding up.
