I can only do ankle if the straps are thin
Otherwise it just truncates the leg...

I can't see anything about those sandals that makes them worth $800.

I guess that’s what you wear with a $2k string bikini

I've always liked the Docs posted upthread but have been hesitant to get them because I'm petite and have very small feet (5). Should I try them??

oh my word. I am picturing you as a certain type of lady in her 50s who is rather "sturdy", probably like a size 16 and wears knee length khaki shorts and a t-shirt every day.

To me it’s giving South Asian mom of 3 trekking to Machu picchu

Isn’t the phrase “cheers and jeers?” Or did you change it intentionally because there are always so few cheers on this thread?

I’m pretty sure these will make my 54 years old knees look less saggy.

Am tempted to pull the trigger on these Beeks, but I don’t love the price. The memory foam footbed sounds awesome.

Cute, closed-toe, and supportive is a tall order. You might be able to find two, but not sure about all three.

Maybe a pair of huaraches?

I really like these Eileen Fishers, but they don’t look super-supportive.

Those are both cute but those flat thin soles would kill someone with PF.

I'm the OP of this thread - and I hate to tell you PP, but the sandals I linked to might work... Or other Danskos. You need a thicker sole that gives more support and doesn't bend a lot, I think.

huarches are so ugly, I can't believe people wear these in actual real life.

Check FitFlops and NAOT. I don’t know what they have this season, but they definitely have had closed toe sandals that are comfortable, supportive, and cute (in that order).

I’m visiting my 83-year-old mom and she wears these in a different color every day with her capri leggings. She highly recommends them and says they are highly supportive and good for narrow feet.
