I’m in the group and have attended some events. There are prob 3-6 events a month…many are actually tied to a charity. I’ve only been to 2 events I think, but from my perspective it’s more of a pop culture, let’s get-together and have fun without our kids, and talk openly about motherhood group than a moms group that’s all open recommendations with little moderation.

The business recommendations are the same as a lot of other groups. She charges for advertising and promotes people who pay her to advertise. People don’t like it in other groups either but it’s the way the internet works. Thousands of people make a living doing this.

She’s harmless. I don’t like everything she posts but some stuff I do. She runs a fun group and the people I’ve met at events including her are all nice and welcoming. I’m really not sure why there is so much anger towards her….sure she posts some cringe content but so does every other influencer out there.

I love the weird flex she makes about how her daughter “doesn’t play with toys”. She says it often and acts like it makes her daughter better/special or something. It’s weird. And also the whole “beetlejuice” type stuff the mom is into and tries to act like her daughter is into the same things completely organically. It’s the same as those parents that are like “my kid’s favorite song is blah blah” when it’s the song the parent plays non stop.

I left the group a while ago because she clearly uses people for financial gain. But I used to get a lot of second hand embarrassment from some of the stuff she posted about her personal life.

I agree that her tone runs me the wrong way because it comes off as "I have this parenting thing down, let me help you" but I think she is actually not very knowledgeable about parenting. She thinks it's about finding the right paid resources (no matter the cost). Agree it looks like she has one fairly easy (and young) kid and a good support system. But doesn't seem to get that those things make parenting easier for her-- she's not better at parenting.

I say this as a parent of an only, but my kid is older and very challenging. We have zero family help and really struggle with creating a support system. We didn't have more kids specifically because I recognized I'm NOT supermom and I didn't want to overextend myself.

It's too bad because someone like me is always looking for actual support resources for patents. I'd love an actual mom support group that was local and led by someone with humility who was interested in encouraging support, not just making money for herself. She can do what she wants but it's just not that useful IMO.

So she shakes down women owned small businesses for free stuff and endorsement but there in no give back? Gross.

She had the nerve to tell me I don't work for free so why should she. She clearly didn't know all PTA/PTO folks work for free.

If you aren't paying, she refuses recommendations. It has to be paid advertising only.


I’m an active member of the group, and a business owner who does not advertise with her. I comment on every thread where a recommendation for my business makes sense. She does not refuse those recommendations or delete them. She’s asked if I wanted to advertise and I said I couldn’t afford it. She was kind about it. I’ve gotten business from recommending myself in that group. It seems like you are just being a hater. Just leave the group! Do you own a business? Has she refused to let you post in the comments? I’d venture to say no she hasn’t.

Her husband is around as this is her business. She will not let any free ads, even PTA/PTO ads to help out schools. She once told me I don't work for free, so why should she. I was working for free for the PTA so it was a bizzare comment. No one gets paid in PTA's. All her recommendations are because she is paid to make them as they are her sponsors. I wouldn't trust anyone or anything in that group.


Then why are you in the group? I do see a lot of charitable posts. Maybe she just doesn't like you. Which makes sense to me based on the personality coming from your comment
