The opening scene of Super Troopers, when the Vermont State Police are messing with the stoners up and down the highway…..is one of the most absolutely hysterically funny scenes of any movie. Saw it in the theater when it came out about 20 years ago, and, although I was not high, it took me back to the days of my youth in the 1970s…..and I remember how terrifying it was to be pulled over when I WAS. Definitely not funny at the time, but the actors in this film were so convincing and so talented……NOW I can laugh 😂🤣😂

Spy is one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen. My DH and I went to see it in the movie theater not expecting much but we laughed the whole time.

Sometimes I’ll be walking somewhere with DH and think “his insect eyes flashed liked a rocket” and absolutely lose it. DH knows the drill by now and tries to help me continue walking.

I feel sort of bad about this one, because it was definitely embarrassing for the person who did it.

In grad school I was at a big international conference. My friends and I met up to see one of the keynote speakers. The lecture was taking place in one half of a huge ballroom at the convention center. The room had been divided into halves using one of those heavy floor to ceiling curtains they can move around.

A guy walked into the lecture a bit late, right past us. The room was packed and standing room only at that point. It was very dimly lit because the lecture had started. He walked to the edge of the room where the curtain was, and proceeded to casually lean on the curtain thinking it was a wall. You can guess what happened. My friends and I lost it, but had to try to keep quiet given the setting. Trying to suppress our laughter made us laugh even more. We could not even make eye contact the rest of the lecture, and even then we kept intermittently giggling for like 45 min.
