The roses and the dinner sound nice. Don’t take the nasty comment to heart. These continually mean comments from one poster just reveal how mean-spirited and jealous that person is.

We agreed not to do anything this year, I haven’t been feeling well and we have been so busy. We snuggled after dinner and that was enough. Maybe we will go out to dinner in a few weeks. It’s not a make or break for our relationship.

It would annoy me to be taken out to dinner on Valentine’s Day unless the man was rich enough that he could afford to waste money on overpriced hype. I bought my bf gifts weeks ahead to avoid the hysteria and he made me a lovely dinner at home.

Yes. Mine always buys the cheapest flowers and thinks he is being so cute with it being “our flower.” It’s not cute, it makes me sad every time and knows it. Buy real flowers.

If you are the type of person who craves attention on Valentines Day, and he is the type who thinks it is no big deal, they why did you marry him? you CHOSE him as your husband. the only person you should be mad at is YOU.


I hate these “life is a choice” posters SO MUCH. Sometimes people disappoint you or you make compromises you regret and it’s okay to vent. No one needs Accountability Annie wagging a sanctimonious finger as if they’re the only adult in the room.
