Although many families there do have money HPU is like every other university in the sense that some kids will take college seriously and some won’t. The phrase C’s get degrees wasn’t invented at HPU. A quality education is absolutely available at this school. As with many other families once you have a child attend HPU the younger siblings will follow. My son will go to HPU as well with ROTC assistance. It’s a safe learning environment that I can feel good about my kids being involved in with so much opportunity at every turn. The restaurants, theater, ice rink, etc make it a wonderful experience and any young person, especially those going into business, would be lucky to attend. Is it perfect? Not for everyone but that’s no different than any other school, you have to find what works for you.
Additionally, the school has done amazing things for the surrounding area.

Please decode the acronym for me? Curious what it means. Thanks.
I think it may mean "Special Needs", but not sure

Do you realize this type of attitude pushes moderates to the right?

Or a second wife. Or a sketchy history with undergrad students.
The whole “Cult of Personality” thing feels like a red flag to me. That larger-than-life thing often travels with massive hubris and god-complex type decisions.
Hopefully, I’m wrong. But based on pattern recognition, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if I’m right ….
The presidents son hazed a kid to death while a student at HPU and the president got him out of it.
In case anyone is unsure of the reference -
