Hold up. What is your source? Abbott? Fox. Homeland Security says there were 269k "encounters" at the border in December 2023. An encounter is not the same as releasing them into the country. 2023 was the worst year for migrants coming into the country but your lying makes me dismiss what you have to say. The people who know how to deal with it are being prevented from doing their jobs by the Governor of Texas.


The root cause is that it hasn’t been dealt with for decades by either party, which is why the truck drivers feel obligated/ emboldened to act. At best the feds made clumsy attempts to control the border and dealing with unvetted new arrivals. We are being upstaged by CANADA(!) 🇨🇦 in controlling national borders — and they have more remote areas and a smaller population.

Allowing 5,000 illegal immigrants into the country per day is not a "reasonable proposal" by any stretch of the imagination.
The original GOP-sponsored HR-2 was reasonable and necessary.

They do not find it concerning at all. Because they know the plan is to ensure those 300,000 - and the other 6-9 million in the last 3 years - will all be given US Citizenship this summer, so they can all vote for Joe Biden in various swing states. That’s why they aren’t concerned.

I saw at least three right wing posters on X try to pass off video of last year's D.C. truck convoy as contemporary video of angry white truckers travelling to Texas. Laura Loomer was one of them. She deleted her video after she was called out. She wants a position in the Trump White House. God forbid.
