Wolfgang is a seriously talented musician. I hope he is good with life now.

She shares a lot including, as noted by PP, details of her marital life and her weight. She's in People magazine regularly (seemingly by choice versus just being the subject of a cover story) and on the morning shows (maybe just Today show?). How many times have we seen her share a weight loss journey?

So it's not unrealistic that people would want to know if the recent weight loss is from taking Ozempic or similar.

don’t care - if she is healthier and happier - that is enough - I don’t need to know the nitty gritty details.

Come clean of...what? It's not a crime to take a prescription. Millions of people take prescriptions every day.

I wasn’t a huge fan of her on the cooking shows. She wasn’t terrible, but they basically were her favorite recipes. Kind of surprised she hasn’t continued her acting career. Maybe the Hallmark Channel ?

Then you need to send her a letter and tell her to keep her big mouth shut about her marital life which is probably what got her fired. Going live on tick tock or whatever it was to trash your soon to be ex with foul mouth words is not what I want to see in a kids show host. She obviously is not very bright.

I actually think he could have been her real love but alcoholism makes relationships tough. I’m sure that fueled the infidelity too. She was probably just protecting herself by ending it but could see the man he could have been beyond the addictions.

Wolfgang Van Halen, I hope, is in therapy. Because after that doc, he is in a lot of pain. They were cool parents, but obviously very permissive and he was around the rock and roll life always....that rarely goes well. She sees it. Not sure the father had the insight to really understand how he affected his son. That burst her bubble I think.

She posted that she recently struggled to get through her son's "Behind the Music" episode (it's on paramount) because of the degree of his pain and trauma, much of it private that he never talked about. And it involves Eddie Van Halen's dark descent into drugs after their divorce, where he was on tour with his father. (This is in addition to his severe alcohol dependency that was there years prior as well).

The son was on tour with van halen and saw his descent into drugs and he felt responsible for him, among other things. She said she realized she made a lot of mistakes as a mother (which is admirable to face and acknowledge). But I'm sure it also brought up feelings of anger for what Eddie exposed their son to. He loved his son but he also projected a lot of narcissistic, idealized fantasies on him from when he was a baby. She says he saw him as a playmate (ie. Peer or later even a hero. It was not healthy). She doesn't say the specifics but Eddie van halen apparently grew up in a very abusive, volatile house and had a lot of trauma. And it affected his son. She sees that now. I never got why she let her high schooler quit school to tour with his father and be around that life. But obviously she was outnumbered and underestimated how bad it would be. Or thought her popping in on tours woukd be enough of a buffer. It wasn't and she probably resents her ex husband now that she knows her son was damaged by it.

Her realization that grief had her recreating the connection with EVH into a more loving supportive one is natural. I'm not going to pile on a woman who has made mistakes and is still making the effort to get it right. Does she need to broadcast all of this, certainly not, but there are a lot of people who blur the line between real community and followers.

I hope she finds longterm happiness, though doubtful it'll be with that dark cloud she's been dating.
