I prepped DC before the math test, explaining a problem they got wrong last time.

DC said they got a similar question this time and knew how to solve it, and explained. Spoiler: DC was wrong.

So much for prep!

The boy did not prep like most here. His parents knew what education is!

Doing an era where there was relatively low pressure and the yield at top colleges was in the 20 to 30% range if you couldn't bankroll a big donation. For Trump the latter occurred to bail him from college purgatory by a transfer to UPenn!

Yes, I am neurotic about it because I want my kid to get into compacted math.

lol wut.

Love him or hate him, Domald Trump is an incredibly high performer in his weird little niche.

His dad was rich enough that he could even hire a guy to take the SATs for him!

There is some truth to this statement. The operative phrase(s) here is "high performer" and "weird little niche".

The only life-long data/evidence that abounds in regards performance relates to lying, cheating, stealing, eating, adultery, and proudly grabbing crotches and genitalia. The weird little niche clearly refers to his brain, vocabulary, IQ and EQ, and bodily appendages, including fingers and toes!

"Wow, you don't know what "education" is"

Let's assume you are correct. Both children are NMF, top varsity athletes, and attending the 2 top ranked colleges/universities in the land. Indeed, chance does favor the prepared mind (and body)!

I am sure they, too, don't know what education is but if I revealed this fact to them; they would graciously tip their hats...and keep on trucking with that "cool-hand-Luke" signature boyish temperament.

She took the literacy test yesterday and the test timed her out after an hour. I assume the teacher will let her continue sometime this week but she told me she was the only kid who did not get to finish the test. She also said that the test was extremely difficult with very long passages that required her to re-read certain sections to answer the questions, so I assume she was doing well and getting more and more difficult questions.

Yes, they will give her time to complete it at another point.

I send the kids to prep class so I can do some cockle warming in peace.

Gobley goop from an uneducated and unschooled mind. We all should do fine. Chance favors the prepped mind!
