Exactly. And sledding requires assistance for a 4yo - line up sled so it's on a clear path, hold it so they can get in before it starts moving. It's a lot to put on a 9yo who will want to play with their own peer friends. I wouldn't want them walking alone on the roads either.
Take them for an hour and log in again at night?
Your 4 year old... has challenges. I've got one with significant special needs. He's a huge elopement risk, so he could never sled without close supervision. But he doesn't need help with the sledding part of it.
Thanks for your diagnosis. Our hill is sloped from the start and most younger kids need someone to help them. There's also a lot of kids sledding and they don't have the judgement to know when/where it's clear.
