I like how they said snow Tuesday then now snow Tuesday but Friday not oh no snow Monday just a dusting, just less than an inch now 4-6 inches. No one else would have a job of they were this wrong all.the.time.

Rediculous.

Keep in mind that if the moisture is flowing from the south snow usually
intensifies fast if the air is cold enough. Not sure why long term local weather people can't predict this if I can. Usually if they predict one inch a week out, we will get at least 4. If they predict a large storm a week out, we usually get very little.

I always carry an orange and Dr. Pepper just in case.

Wish I had those when I spent 8 hours on Connecticut Avenue during Snowmageddon.

I've not seen one plow actually plowing or sanding as of yet.

I live in upper MoCo and the roads are covered and slippery.

MCPS just announced they are closed.

Any chance DC schools will close?

Feds?

Dc schools are closed. I live downtown and haven’t seen a plow yet.

95 South from Baltimore to 495 is completely unplowed/unsalted. North seems ok but pretty sure they haven’t touched the south stretch of road once today.

Didn’t want to be on it but was coming home from Philly.

Why did you take your kid out, just because the coach has bad judgment?

Because the roads were fine when we left at 3:30 pm and I can drive in the snow?

There are tire tracks with no discernible lane dividers. Traffic was going about 35 mph except for the odd truck. It clears when you get into Fairfax County.

Fairfax County Parkway is slushy and bad in parts. Plows are out. 50 is fairly clear. Braddock Road is pretty slushy and plows also are out.

Worse conditions than I expected. Stay home!

Have you seen a plow plow though because I don't think they have enough to I saw plows with dirt in the back but they were not plowing or putting dirt down. I wish I knew what their plan was...?

Northern Hinterlands in North MoCo are untouched by a truck. And it seems to snow more up here as we had snow all day and it is quite thick. I had to work so I went at 20 mph but had some trouble making it up the rural roads to my house. I am going to either take the horse or ATV tomorrow.
