But until one of us finds the ideal person this is a relationship that works. He’s very tall and fit and many of my married or single or divorced GFs pester me about my sex life. Curious, jealous or both!
Im the poster above with 20 yr younger bf.
VERY similar here, also he's tall and very handsome ...and more

Recently I’ve observed a man we know from university, who has aged poorly due to stress of running his own law firm, posting his new younger (mid 20s ish) girlfriend all over social media. She looks like his little sister or niece and it gives me the ick. He is always posting photos of her in revealing clothing hanging all over him like she’s some trophy.
Older women dating younger men don’t seem to give me the same feeling. I’m wondering why that is? Is it because biologically there is much less likely to be children resulting from that type of match, while older men can impregnate younger women with their inferior sperm and have kids well past the age they should become fathers?
Is it because I feel bad for these attractive young women who should really be able to find a decent looking successful man their own age, and instead are settling for an older version?
Or am I having some sort of deep seated insecurities because this woman is younger and prettier than me? To be fair, I am not bad looking and still in decent shape after two kids. I’ve also never had any romantic interest in this man posting on social media.
Fascinating! I suppose I will see more of this type of situation as we get older.

I was going to post something mean because I thought you were dating a 20 year old but I realize it was 20 years younger.
As a mom of a teen son, I would find it gross for a women in her fifties to be sleeping with a 20 year old. It isn’t sexy. It is more like child molestation. I do think the same as men dating a teen.

Imagine a 40 year old man posting anything, let alone his flavor of the month, on social media.

Anonymous wrote:Eh. I don’t think it’s necessarily ick. Usually when I see this dynamic, the older person just got divorced and is looking to feel young again, the young person just graduated college and is looking to feel “grown-up”.
Very, very rarely do they work out. They mess around for a few months and usually the younger person decides they’d rather have someone their own age, without all the baggage.
I went through this at 23. Dated a 45 year old, recently divorced man. It was exciting because he seems so mature and I thought he’d be everything men my age weren’t. But pretty quickly I got tired of his body (he was in decent shape, but 45 is still 45), I realized most 45 year olds aren’t even all that mature, and I definitely did NOT want the drama that would have come with being a stepmom to his kids. So we had fun, then I found a guy my own age.
If I got divorced (I’m 40), I could see myself having a fling with a 20 year old. But ultimately I’d get bored pretty quickly and want someone on my level.

Me too. It's weird (I'm a woman). I think a 10 year gap is OK, but 15 is pushing it.
