76 during the day, then I crank it up to 85 for about an hour at night and then back down to 72/73 while we sleep.

Ours is set to 64 (63 night). On sunny days, it'll warm up a few degrees, but it's been such a cloudy winter so sometimes I bump it to 65.


wow that is cold. ours is set to 73-74 during the day and at night about 72 during the winter.

68 day/63 night. We have a programmable thermostat (who doesn't?), so it warms up before I have to wake up.

For those of you who keep it at 69 or 74 or whatever year-round, do you wear the same clothes inside in both summer and winter?

I like the dogs to be warm when they sleep. And not waking up to a cold house. It's only 3-4 months of the year when I have a heating bill. The savings from turning down to 64 are not notable enough to make a difference. My December bill is only $100.

69 at night. it's off during the day because we have large windows that allow for a ton of sun to enter the home. it really heats up quickly on it's own.
