If my child deliberately broke any item irrespective of cost there would be immediate punishment. S three year old knows what they are doing.

Work on impulse control and not throwing things in the house. Set your kid up for success by keeping things that can be broken out of their way or protecting valuables. (We put a baby gate around the tv so the kids couldn’t get close to it or the remote, game players, streaming boxes,etc.) Direct any anger or frustration away from your child. They just don’t understand.


He is s old enough to understand throwing an object when he is angry so he should be old enough to understand punishment for doing so. Obviously, kid has some serious anger problems that OP should have been working on before this incident.

Idk guys I might be different but I remember being a very well behaved child. I still have memories from 1 years old. (Confirmed by parents)

I'll say this I think my imagination helped me stay out of trouble. I could occupy my mind.

Children are truly different but idk my daughter and son act drastically different. My daughter has always been calm and peaceful. Emotional but not aggressive. But my son is so aggressive.

Eventually he was allowed to have an iPad again but if he isn’t gentle with it, he loses any iPad time for 48 hours.
