Same. I'd say take the job and just flex your hours for your in-office days so you're home when you need to and then log back on later. find out first though if your agency is okay with that. some are more rigid than others when it comes to that type of flexibility.

You could, but then you are either taking the red line one stop or walking approximately a mile (I'm including the distance walked in Union Station, as I believe those who park have to exit through either the front of the station or the metro exit on the west side).

I wouldn't consider Union Station to be "in the area" though it's not far.
