How did this come out?

Damn! That's a clean sweep. I don't understand why the 15 year old girl faced no charges or consequences tho.
Same as the bag of fentanyl shoe robbery.
Girls can't commit crimes. They have no agency.
The news report clearly states that the carjacked car was driven by someone (not clear if it was the carjacker) to BCC. It is unclear if the girl in the car (or other people in the car) were involved in the initial carjacking or who/which of them knew it was stolen.
It is not a crime to unknowingly be a passenger in a stolen car. Some persons are released at the scene of a crime because there is not enough evidence at that moment to charge them.

There are many people who were passed over many times in the past and for good reason, but who are going to get placed in a high school in 2024 because they will have no competition. It’s critical to drive out abusive and lawbreaker principals, but know that there are many good ones leaving as well ( several who haven’t yet announced their retirement/change of plans) because they’re so demoralized. Be careful what you wish for. We’re about to see an influx of far worse high school principals with proven track records of mediocrity. I’d prefer green and inexperienced to mediocre if I had to pick. If you like your high school principal at all or if you don’t love them but think they’re doing a decent job, you should encourage them to stay.
Any concrete examples?

He’s not awful. That’s how.
What do you think he does well?
New poster. Mooney's a decent human being who had a stroke last year. He also lacks the ability to initiative any positive change in the school.
The bigger issue is how B-CC has become a terrible school where kids can't use the bathrooms safely, where there is no supervision, where kids go off at lunchtime and carjack cars using guns (or BB guns), where kids bring guns to school, where kids hit innocent kids over the head with chairs, and so on and so on.
Here's the big news: according to US News and World report ONLY 17 PERCENT OF STUDENTS ARE PROFICIENT IN MATH.
And the school continues to go downhill thanks to PPs like the apologists for B-CC who are so radical that they care more about sticking to their inane political beliefs than actually educating our kids in a safe environment. Their criticizing the PTSA is especially low, but not surprising. Getting involved and critiquing a lawsuit between a health teacher and principal (without actually being there to hear what actually went on) is also reprehensible and pathetic.
The rest of us are hoping our kids can just be safe enough at school to graduate and move on to better things. Shocker that we want violent criminals out of the school and away from our kids.
Apparently even college admissions officers know that B-CC is a very rough place now.

He’s open and willing to answer parents’ questions about various topics at parent town halls/PTSA meetings. He follows through with answers when he says he will.

He wouldn't fix Larla's B.
Wow, not funny, and not clever.
Plus everyone knows that his admin WILL change any grade. You're a bit out of touch.![]()

If only there weren't so many bureaucrats in the central office hoping to justify their jobs by meddling.
