He does not look like stereotypes of killers or wife abusers / mundane face of evil if he is guilty …
The poor family of the judge - what a nightmare for them.
I'm a former domestic violence advocate and later prosecutor. He looks VERY much like the typical wife abuser/domestic violence killer to me. The notion that such people look like ??? or behave like ??? is so antiquated. Most violently abusive men look like your doctor or dentist or pharmacist or whatever and not so much like the ??? of your biased imaginings.
So your stereotype is more accurate than another poster's stereotype ?
The very obvious meaning of PP's statement is that domestic abusers look like a cross section of everyone and not anyone in particular. I'm coming at this from the opposite angle (I used to do criminal defense, including for domestic abusers) and I agree. There's no one thing that "domestic abusers" look like.
True. But there is one very noticeable physical characteristic that 98% of abusers share.
23% of women report commiting intimate partner violence. This is similar to the numbers for men, but even if every man in the country was an abuser, they wouldn't be 98%.
Stop making up nonsense.
I was wrong. The number is actually 28% of women based on the analysis I was thinking of: https://connect.springerpub.com/content/sgrpa/3/2/170. Women report being perpetrators at higher rates than men, actually. Men are less likely to be victims of physical IPV, but only slightly: https://connect.springerpub.com/content/sgrpa/3/2/140.
That's the reality of domestic abuse, not "it's always the men!"
Thanks for posting broken links, very helpful.

+1. Family annihilators and mass shooters share the same characteristic.
There will never be peace in this world until we solve the problem of testosterone and the violence it compels.
ITS ALWAYS THE MEN!

No. A county circuit judge does not have round the clock security. Most federal judges do not have this. What gave you this idea?
I dunno. Movies? Movies always show judges surrounded by teams of bodyguards and others patrolling outside their homes.
I was also surprised when that Texas congressman was carjacked a couple weeks ago that he didn’t have a team of security people.
And this person can vote. There are almost 100 federal courts in this country and 535 members of congress. You thought all those individuals had security by measure of multiple people. For crying out loud.
what are the facts that led to this no contact judgment?Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Authorities are looking for 49 year old Pedro Argote

Domestic abuse need not always be physical.
Oh clearly it was physical and severe. You don’t get that kind of custody order without serious physical abuse. And of course he proved himself a physical abuser by, you know, murdering the judge.

His is the face of pure evil!
Hope he gets the needle for this.
Sure, drama llama. Looks more like the face of a tax accountant.

The ex wife and children are safe and in hiding according to this verified go fund me but they don’t have access to any of their things. I generally don’t donate to these things but I was moved to donate here. Sharing in case others feel the same. https://gofund.me/10ea46f0
According to the news his car was found in Williamsport, but he wasn't. Glad the wife and family is in hiding.

Is this a typical amount of divorce filings? Seems like a lot. I’m guessing the dude is dead somewhere, self-inflicted.
I hope his ex-wife is under protection. Surely she is next on his list.

Congress passed legislation to do this for federal judges since a man Judge Esther Salas ruled against came to her house and murdered her son. Not sure if Maryland or any other states have done anything similar.

OMG.
He looks exactly like the type who always does this. A MAN!
Men are horrible.
Took long enough for the usually DCUM misandry to show up.
Yes, if a person is from group X, then all people from group X must be bad.
We’ll he’s from Argentina and Machismo culture is Argentinian culture, so it’s no surprise he has a domestic violence rap-sheet a mile long.
