My theory is that most people are bisexual and if we stopped caring so desperately about sexuality and prioritizing heterosexuality there’d be lot fewer miserable marriages.

I agree. And the shame society places on men having sex with men is a key factor.

I wish this were true. I avoided ADHD meds until my 40s, despite realizing that I needed them in my 20s. Since starting they have been life changing. The days I forget them I truly have trouble concentrating. I do believe some people use it as an excuse, and I see a lot of that here with husbands who don't engage with their families ("maybe they have adhd"????)

I tried so hard to be organized and not be forgetful, and it wasn't a choice for me.

Why do you need to concentrate?

Are you being sarcastic? I have a job. It requires me to read things I don't care about. It requires me to keep files organized and keep track of things. I developed systems and habits to help me for most of my life, but I was always a little behind, a lot flustered. The medications help my brain focus and remember. I look back to how much my brain jumped from thought to thought before the meds, it was mentally exhausting.

I think ADHD is on the rise because ADHD people are much more fun, interesting, and intelligent in non traditional ways therefore more people fall in love with them/want to have sex with them.

I don’t think ADHD is a disability and if our lives didn’t involve so much sitting and reading they would be top of the food chain. Actually I think due to hyper focus most programmers and engineers are ADHD.

Wrong! We fully supported our DD when she claimed she was gay, knowing full well she was not gay and knowing she would eventually discover her true sexuality. The goal is to support your child as they navigate their feelings and experiences.

I 100% agree.

Well, you are wrong.

Why are some of you in here arguing with people about what they believe when OP made it clear these are the things we all believe that aren’t necessarily based on real fact. Who cares if they think this? You’re missing the point of the whole thread.

Another theory: my son and I (and maybe his dad too) have super immunity to covid. We never tested positive when testing was required, and never locked down in any way. We aren’t testing anymore as it’s not required but all the colds just feel normal.

I have dry eyes (waa!). On the up side, because of putting drops in all the time I have no crows feet. Like none. And I’m 52

Also I wonder if Jesus was conceived by an alien. That’s why he was conceived via immaculate conception, could heal the sick, Mary was lifted to a space ship. Basically the stories from the Bible are true but insert alien component.

As a Catholic and sending my kids to Catholic school, I know this is blasphemy. I hope I am wrong.

As a Catholic you should know the difference between the inaccurate conception and virgin birth.

To clarify this: The Immaculate Conception is about Mary, not Jesus, and has nothing to do with sex or conception of a baby. It simply says Mary was preserved from original sin.

This all sounds nuts.

1. First, it's so easy to use that you start putting mayo on everything, but then---

2. it's impossible to get the last bit of mayo out of the squeeze bottle, whereas a good knife or a skinny iced tea spoon can get you the last bit of mayo in the jar.

so people end up having to buy condiments more frequently. Profits go up, Big Mayo laughs.

it's genius!! And now even the dish detergent guys have gotten in on the game. Next up will be squeeze bottle yogurt--oh wait, that already exists, it's called gogurt...

Babe, the squeeze bottle tops can be removed.

Have you ever tried to scrape out the last bit of mayo from the squeeze bottle? It's not easy.

I don’t know if it can really be considered a scam because it’s so obvious that they are a worse value and you’re paying for convenience.

So funny—I recently had a conversation with my husband about these bottles. We went back to the traditional jar. We don’t even eat much mayonnaise but we seemed to run out of the squeeze bottles so fast. No more.
