It’s not. Many of us feel this way. I replied once and then I am again now. I was out doing errands today and saw many groups of teens in pj pants. I’m not sure why you are so bothered my this.

I think the only time anyone should be wearing pjs out of the house is either driving themselves to the hospital because they are too sick to get dressed or in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. Other than that people should dress appropriately in public spaces.
