- educated with a high paying career
- keep up their looks, don’t get fat, dress pretty and wear makeup and have long glossy black hair
- maintain an attractive, clean home and know how to cook, or you will look bad
- religious (but you still have to look sexy) and raising children to behave appropriately and follow cultural expectations
The men have the following expectations:
- have a job
I think American men may find this nightmare sort of awesome.

Finding it very hard to believe multiple American men have said so many highly female-coded compliments about a woman’s skills (lol). If true, they might have just been trying to get laid you know.
Both US born men I dated post divorce told me that.
so basically those American men liked that you did more in the home than American women. Of course, men would find that attractive. Heck, I'd find that attractive, too, and I'm a woman.
Yes, they were both amazed how much weight I pulled off while married and yet how I managed to retain my looks. I'm indeed slender and attractive, and eat one big meal a day as PP noted about European women. I had nearly 100% second dates follow ups when I was looking for a partner. I also come across on the very first date in a way that he feels "I finally met her". Easy and deep at same time, playful conversation. It felt so bad to turn down many great dates, after hearing this phrase. I always grant a second date unless he came across as a self-centered idiot, and turn down after the second. I would tell them my ex came back and we reconciled (my upbringing is never turn a man down). Never would tell a man he's got a belly or there is no chemistry etc.
Are you OP?
No

- prefer manly men and more defined gender roles
- More romantic and passionate. American women don't really seem like they value men.
This is just off the top of my head and varies a ton depending on country.
