Agree with many of these especially Gilmore Girls. But the Sopranos is still the greatest show ever made.

I found it painful on rewatch because it is one of the most brilliant shows ever made for TV, yet it did not gain audience traction despite critical acclaim and has not been made available as streaming content while so many much lesser quality shows have been.
After watching it again I thought to myself that is says a lot about America that Homicide is barely accessible to successive generations while Law & Order runs on a loop on several cable outlets and can be streamed easily.
If you’ve never seen Homicide, do yourself a favor and find the DVDs and watch it. But please, the show is so nuanced and has such depth that it really must be watched the old fashioned way, not as a background to multitasking on the digital devices.

Aaron Sorkin’s stuff (definitely west wing and maybe even sports night) seems to get pretty dated, altho again some people can look past it.
Totally disagree about We st Wing. I’m amazed at how well it has held up.

This is an older post but I am watching this now (were you the one who suggested it to me?!) and I love it for the most part, but I am constantly cringing at the Alexis jokes. "I wanted to see the she male." "Are you staring at my boobs?" The jokes about Marc being gay are also cringe.
Oh also calling Amanda a slut and a whore, the immigration worker calling Betty's dad "Nacho", the gay jokes about Hilda's son Justin....

I didn’t start watching 24 until the pandemic and while some things are dated, I loved the first 5 seasons and several of the later ones too.
