It is common knowledge that teachers are abused and exploited by their employers. It's also common knowledge that mcps has a toxic top heavy culture. As someone who has been there done that I believe as a citizen I have a duty to point out waste fraud and abuse. Grudge is more of a word bullies use when they are found out.

I would also blame council members like Jawando running for Senate that accept money from the law firm hired by MCPS to defend them on multiple issues. Even Glass had the right idea when he demanded transparency in the budget. I’m sure he would like to know how much teachers have already paid out of their own pocket for basic instructional materials in the first week of school. Yet we added all these non-teaching positions?
