Interesting that this song was released in 2021 and yet the dates for this lawsuit are 2022 & 2023. So who are these people she references?
She sounds like a real peach to work with.

This is why rappers and many other artists have entourages that follow them on tour. Tour can be lonely and having a support system is important. It sounds like Lizzo didn't do that and instead used these women as automatic besties.
I don't think this will make it to a jury trial like these women want. It would be interesting if it did. I believe Lizzo and the management team will settle out of court, Lizzo will do a press tour on how it was a learning experience, and everyone will move on. These dancers better hope they get a good settlement, too, because as someone who has worked in the entertainment industry, their careers are pretty much over. Not many artists & choreographers, even ones who support them in this fight, will want to work with them in the future. You don't want someone on your team who has been problematic in the past.
This is what I think too. Lizzo probably also thought she was doing all these women a favor by bringing them to these clubs etc. But she’s being burned and rightfully so - there needed to be a boundary.
That said most of the stuff listed in the complaint feels like typical bad boss stuff that almost everyone endures to some degree. Most people don’t sue, so clearly these women also see some opportunity here in filing this complaint.
Ive had horrible bosses but none pressured me go to a sex club, drop my pants to be whipped or eat a Nana out of a cooch.

Their feelings that there might be retaliation is not going to hold up. Especially from someone with a known and admitted anxiety disorder.
Sounds like they found an ambulance chaser lawyer and went to town with allegations. Why include the part about being uncomfortable with Lizzo showing affection to her boyfriend and equally as uncomfortable when Lizzo, her man, and 2 others went into a private room to do who knows what. That whole section again plays into this woman’s anxiety and doesn’t show anything illegal or wrong that Lizzo did to them.
I was a huge MJ fan until those allegations came out. I was a big Chris Brown fan until he turned out to be a domestic abuser. I’m still a Lizzo fan based off of what I saw at the link in the documents.
This feels very Ricky Martin-esque.
Amazing! Thank you for bringing this to our attention! I bet those folks who threw Harvey Weinstein in jail didn't know this and are feeling really stupid right now.
They still had free will, did they not? They had the ability to say no and leave just like these dancers. Being held down or constrained from leaving is wildly different from someone saying "I was under the impression that if I left, I wouldn't get booked to dance in upcoming shows."
People need to take personal responsibility and no one does that these days.
Most of these points sound so Gen Z and whiney as hell.

She won't be cancelled. Cardi B hasn't been cancelled and she's done a lot worse.
