Any more info on this? When did they attend Dutch, how old were your kids? Why didnt they like it - too easy, too hard, something completely different?

Regardless, your "top team" 8 year old LOL will be sufficiently challenged at any camp with older players.

I don't completely agree with this... my younger kid's team plays up a year (sometimes 2) and they consistently thrash the other teams. Yes, these are younger kids, but if the U8 team is beating U10 teams, it means not all older kids are a good challenge to younger kids. The point is, attending the camp that attracts the best players... it's not the age, but the quality/skill of the other campers.

Do you realize how stupid you sound?

Ah, takes one to know one!? I know you are but what am I!? ... realistically, just because your kid is not very talented, does not mean you have to belittle other's kids that are ...

Dude. If a u8 is thrashing a u10, dollars to donuts, the u10 team sucks. That doesn’t make your u8 team world beaters.

You are 100% correct, but U8s beating U10s still shows that they can handle playing against larger (possibly faster) opponents. There are not too many opportunities for younger kids to play aganst stronger opponets, playing up is just one way of possibly getting better opponenets.

2025 -- I was a bit disappointed with HP Elite. It was a lot of repetitions which is good and they keep it moving but not much instruction. Kids definitely do things incorrectly from what is explained and they do not care to correct in real time I think partly due to how many kids are there. They break into smaller groups but in the smaller groups there isn't enough coaches to re-demonstrate things as needed for the entire group to see on a smaller level.

Not sure if weekly in-season classes are the same but that was the summer camp feel at least

Now take what I say with a grain of salt....perhaps repetition is a big part of things but I would figure they'd care to make sure technique and the way they are doing things matter with high reps otherwise wouldn't they learn bad habits?

Coaches are nice and build rapport with the kids but I don't think much instruction was given beyond quick demos for the entire group

Is Dutch not good for girls?

My DD had a great time at Dutch Soccer . We originally signed her up for the regular Dutch Soccer and even though she enjoyed it , it wasn’t as challenging. So we then decided to sign her up for Dutch Soccer Pro which she enjoyed more. Not sure where all the hate is coming from saying Dutch Soccer doesn’t cater to girls? Mine had an amazing time . 🤷‍♂️

Lol, my daughter also really liked Dutch. Not sure how it’s “hate” to point out that it was 95% boys? Mine was okay with that, but some might not be.

Dutch has 3 girl teams this year... training seems to be pretty good, though I kind of expected stronger players (greater competition) on the 2014 and up team. Maybe I should have tried their elite camp, but it was out first year. Overall the kids seem to be having fun and learning soccer things.

attending Bayern Munich camp in Seattle. Signed up specifically for their advertised high level goalie training. Never happened. Told by coaches and director that they don’t do that and had no idea it was on the daily schedule and camp advertising. I showed them both and they just shrugged their shoulders. Complete waste of money

Age of your DD when she attended, if you don't mind.
