That’s not important to women. Reading through DCUM most single women who date wait 6-8 months to have sex. More likely the dudes are extremely wealthy and OP can not tell. Are you a woman? All men between the age of 18 and 65 want the same thing, regardless of income or education. They want a woman who is hot, stunning, beautiful, kind, and has a good personality, in that order.


They didn't used to. People used to marry real people. First off Hot, stunning, and beautiful are the same thing. Kind and good personality also probably mean the same thing to the person who wrote this. So basically, it is saying men these days want people who are good looking, good in bed, and don't disagree. In other words, inhuman. Despite them being human themselves. They made a movie about this called the Stepford Wives. They killed the woman and created robot women.

It would also be shallow if there was a dating service for women to only pick 45-year-old hot men who made millions that they would just hand over with no disagreements either. It's just shallow. Most men want to be able to have flaws as well as assets and want to be real people who have capacity to make money but also have loyalty when times are hard and aren't being used for it.

The more I go on this site, the more I want to move to another country that doesn't have exposure to the internet making everyone believe they have to be all of these things but not human.

I believe you that the men that they were paired with were less masculine. Especially given that from what you have told us, this group of women is very likely left-leaning politically. Certainly improbable for median American women, but not improbable for:

Upper middle class to wealthy upbringings, high school student-athletes, selective sorority sisters, college educated, advanced degrees, spin yoga pilates runners, reside in a healthy city, good jobs, healthy eaters, low or no cigarette drug and alcohol use.


Np. Even among these cohorts, by age 30-35, the women in this area look old. Aging is normal and shouldn't affect how others perceive their beauty, but we all know it does, and women are even more so affected by this bias.


You are being cruel and antagonistic. Those cohorts are often very pretty, still thin, great style, nice hair and makeup, and well put together.

Maybe it’s that when these 30 somethings were in their 20’s they had unrealistic aspirations for Mr. Right and now all of the “almost Mr. Rights” are off the market let alone the Mr. Rights. You never want to just settle but if you set the bar so high you may never reach it.

It’s pretty simple. The good looking guys are still playing the field and/or dating younger. A man in his early 30’s is likely in his prime. Add good looks and there may be very little reason for him to date his age. Really only 20% of guys are “attractive” by our typical Standards. I read some where that the top 1% of guys has over a 100 sexual partners in their life.

I work for a very expensive dating service in Los Angeles, no app and through referral only. 99.9% of the men using this service are very wealthy and all of them want stunning women in their 20's. None of the women in the dating pool is over 30 years old. These men neither care about the woman's money or the MBA. As long as the woman is educated, does not have to be an Ivy education, a state degree is good enough. And being nice.

My son hosted a gathering this weekend. He and his friends are all 30 to 35 years old. This may sound terrible but I couldn’t help but notice how many of his stunning lifelong friends were either long-term single or their female companions (wifes, fiancés, and live-in girlfriends) were optics mismatches and also, many of them didn’t seem to have a lot going on professionally. I’m not just saying this because I’ve known them for so long. My son’s friends are very attractive, very sporty lifestyles, most have two degrees, and they are successful professionally. I’m sorry for noticing, but most of the women they were with just were not pretty at all. Even my husband noticed and he never makes comments like that.

Is this reflective of how challenging it is out there for men my son’s age?

I'm curious how this matches up with our rival China. There, the percentage of men to women is much higher because of their one child policy they had years back. They can't be as picky about their women because fewer Chinese women exist. Are they working more while the US men are playing video games and lamenting that they don't have a girlfriend who is a model?

It’s reflective of why most women date other women these days.
