Can't we raise, I don't know... possums? They are pretty crafty problem solvers (although they do like to rummage through my garbage.) Or hummingbirds? Ants? Beavers? Worker bees?

This is pretty clearly one of those sentiments about raising strong kids, rather than meek kids. I'm not sure what there is to be confused about? I'd avoid talking to the parents, unless you want to hear about how boys aren't "alpha males" anymore and "wokeness" has ruined the next generation.
