Yeah Dems had a pretty good night last Tuesday, but Loudoun was definitely a sore spot for them.
???
The Democrats claimed a super majority on the school board — the right-wingers were so sure the Moms for Liberty sort would take over and push back on the trans stuff, etc. Voters rejected that hate pretty soundly.
Perry best Segura handily. It wasn’t even particularly close.
Anderson won by just 300 votes. Which means efforts to make Buta a polarizing figure were barely successful, even though they had to lie to do it. It helps that Anderson is a former prosecutor.
But that was really the only bright spot for Republicans in Loudoun. Oh and maybe Mike Chapman winning reelection. That was a shame — corrupt sheriff should have gone down in flames.

Segura didn’t go full MAGA. He tried to emulate Youngkin, who isn’t very popular in Loudoun lost the county two years ago. Perry wiped the floor with Segura — like a 10-point margin in Loudoun. It wasn’t even close.
Calm down. Perry won by 6 points. Perry won the Loudoun portion of SD-31 by 6 points. Segura ran a dumb campaign and the abortion issue cancelled out any positives for him. If Roe wasn't overturned I could have seen him winning.

A bunch of trashy white people who vote Republican because they simply only care about themselves. Buta was an amazing prosecutor and the trash in Loudon deserves everything they get for electing all those republicans.
Exactly the reason why I would never, ever think about living out there!
Loudon County woke up and started the return to American values. The tide is turning away from progressive nonsense, and not a moment too soon.
That’s the lesson you got from last Tuesday? Huh.
Yes, although it could have been stronger it was a start. Is there a lesson that I missed?
