Why not Mexico or El Salvador?
Cuba and Venezuela are better.

Not even close. Crimes rates in Cuba are essentially nonexistent compared to Mexico. We were in Santiago de Cuba last year for vacation and felt totally safe for the first time in our lives. No guns, totally opposite of life here in the U-S-of-NRA.
Cuba is at the very top of our list when we retire and ready to jump off this sinking ship. If another republican is ever elected to the White House we’ll be leaving immediately. H and I just need to learn Spanish.

Get a small farm 10-20 acres that is 75% wooded in New England or Update New York. Build an off grid house that has a cool cellar. Start a small orchard. Get a chicken coop. Start a large garden with perennials (eg asparagus, blueberries, raspberries, Jerusalem artichoke…) another one with annuals. Fence everything in and get netting for the top to stop the critters as much as you can. Make sure there are sugar maples in your forest bonus if there are apple trees. Buy seeds and seed starter containers. Build a green house. Learn to use an axe and to boil down maple sap. Make hard cider if you have enough apple trees. Eventually add a few sheep and goats too.
Buy books to read when you have down time. Learn to spin, knit and sew.
Nice fantasy but won't do you any good if the ravening hordes from NYC are hungry. Not enough guns on the planet for you to protect your 10 acres.

Okay, so the Catholic Church's version of the FBI is hunting you down? And you blame this on the US government? Okay.
Make it make sense.

If you have money it doesn’t matter if Japanese people don’t like you
They’re just passive aggressive about it so you can ignore them;
Labor is cheap so you can hire educated translators to help as hoc
Material/physical life is super high quality. Transportation, food quality, safety etc
It’s truly excellent if you don’t care to make friends with the locals

LMAO. I was being sarcastic.
Your pathetic attempt at sarcasm shows how woefully stupid you really are.

Cuba is a client state of Russia. I'm surprised you can stand to stay here at all, given your... worldview.

What skill do you have that 1st world country want?
Are you STEM person under 50? or Doctor? Then many country want you. If you are lawyer? HAHAHA useless eater in other country legal system
If not, no luck.
Total BS
Every other country needs all the lawyers and MBA’s they can get.
Why do you think other countries send their brightest to US law schools and business schools here?
Sounds like you have an inferiority complex. Deservedly.
dp... but wouldn't American lawyers need to pass the equivalent exams in the other countries to practice law there? Certainly, we require doctors and lawyers to pass exams here in the US to practice.
but it's true.. STEM degrees are more easily portable. There are no CS exams to pass in order to be a programmer.
A lawyer or executive is far more productive to GDP than some engineer or farmer.
